Aggregation
Three-level composition primitive for combining multiple slots into one commercial capacity surface: AllocationPlan, CapacityPool, and PoolTranche.
Why aggregation exists
ComputeSlot is atomic and transferable, but large tenant demand is often portfolio-shaped: multiple owners, mixed stage gates, and mixed regulatory posture. Aggregation provides a typed bridge from "many physical components" to "one commercial object" without losing per-component provenance.
Three levels
- AllocationPlan (L1): non-binding, ephemeral solver output for a
DemandSpec. - CapacityPool (L2): signed, persistent multi-owner commitment with exit terms and operating posture.
- PoolTranche + Waterfall (L3): payment-priority overlays and deterministic period settlement.
Disambiguation from composability spectrum
The Composability Spectrum is a cross-vertical conceptual model describing how assets can be decomposed and recomposed in general. Energy aggregation is a concrete, domain-specific implementation for compute-ready power inventory: it introduces explicit schemas, API routes, rights checks, and settlement behavior for pooled capacity.
