eFront Integration

eFront portfolio management system integration for DMTR.

Overview

The eFront integration will connect DMTR to eFront (BlackRock Aladdin) for portfolio reporting sync and position reconciliation in alternative investments. This document describes the planned integration specification. eFront is widely used for private equity, real estate, and infrastructure portfolio management. The integration will enable sync of positions and support data mapping between eFront and DMTR schemas. Capabilities and implementation details are subject to change as the specification is finalized.

Portfolio reporting sync

Portfolio reporting sync (planned) will support sync of positions from eFront to DMTR and optionally from DMTR to eFront for reconciliation. Sync patterns may include batch (scheduled) and API-triggered modes. The specification will define sync frequency, conflict resolution, and data freshness requirements. eFront fund, deal, and commitment data will map to DMTR Position objects with appropriate transformations for alternative assets.

Data mapping

Data mapping (planned) will define how eFront entities (funds, deals, commitments, capital calls) map to DMTR Position and Participant objects. eFront alternative assets schema includes fund structures, vintage years, and capital flow data; mapping will handle these structures. Field-level mapping will be documented in the specification. Custom mappings may be supported for organization-specific configurations.

Configuration

Configuration (planned) will include eFront API credentials, sync direction and frequency, entity mapping rules, and optional filters (e.g., by fund, vehicle). Configuration will be managed via the DMTR dashboard or API. Sandbox configuration will support testing. Configuration validation will ensure required fields and mappings are complete before sync activation.

Limitations

Limitations will be documented at release. Anticipated limitations include eFront API rate limits, supported asset classes and fund structures, and sync latency. eFront product variants (eFront PE, RE, etc.) may have different API capabilities. The specification may be updated as limitations are clarified during development.
