Portfolios Resource
portfolio:// URI scheme for fetching portfolio data via MCP.
Overview
The portfolio:// resource exposes DMTR portfolio data to MCP clients. Portfolios are containers for positions (e.g., a fund, SPV, or account). The resource is read-only; clients fetch portfolios by ID or list them with filters. The LLM can use this data to understand portfolio structure, aggregate holdings, and answer questions about fund-level attributes.
URI format
portfolio://[portfolio_id]
portfolio://?limit=...&cursor=...Without a path, the resource lists portfolios. With a portfolio ID in the path, it returns a single portfolio. The base URI is portfolio://.
Query parameters
| Parameter | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
limit | number | Max results (default 50, max 100) |
cursor | string | Pagination cursor from previous response |
type | string | Filter by portfolio type (e.g., fund, spv) |
All parameters are optional. Listing returns portfolios the API key can access.
Response format
The resource returns JSON. For a single portfolio: the full portfolio object (id, name, type, metadata, etc.). For a list: { "data": [...], "next_cursor": "..." }. The schema matches the DMTR API portfolio object.
